Jendela
Jendela is my attempt at making a command line tool for controlling windows. It’s pretty similar to wmctrl. It’s aim is to extend Metacity, GNOME’s window manager, but it can also be used with other WMs that support the EWMH specification.
I try to report progress on Jendela in my blog, just look for posts tagged with Jendela.
