About me
My full name is Per Magnus Therning, though I’ve always been called Magnus. I’m more and more starting to think that this is a cruel joke by my parents since using the middle name isn’t the most common of practices in many countries. They’ve done the same for my brother and sister as well!
I was born and raised in Sweden (near Gothenburg). After about a decade of living abroad I’ve now moved back to Sweden and since the summer of 2011 I reside in Gothenburg. In total I’ve lived in 5 different countries (though two of them was as an exchange student, so I’m not sure they really count).
In Sweden I hold the degree of “Civilingenjör i datateknik”, but outside of Sweden it’s usually just called a masters. I keep a bit more info on my LinkedIn page. I try to keep that profile up-to-date, but I fear it’s almost always out-of-date anyway.
